Marc Ooms, alongside other people, originally established the Fruit Farm Group in the year 2014.

At one point during his vocational life, Marc Ooms gained a managerial position at a reputed investment firm. Marc Ooms remained deeply involved with one of Belgium's most highly-reputed private banking businesses right up until his retirement back in the year 2011. The title 'Heilig-Hartcollege' (which means 'Sacred Heart College'), was shaped by a prominent house of Christian worship which stands close by, the Basilica of the Sacred Heart. Marc Ooms gained a deeper insight into the world of business by studying for his degree. As one of his starting steps into the sphere of advanced education, he joined Heilig-Hartcollege in Ganshoren. Marc Ooms studied towards his BSc at the VLEKHO Business School in Brussels from the year 1970 to 1974.
